To create an axie infinity account download, install Mavis Hub for windows as well as your Ronin wallet.
Furthermore access your account with the Ronin wallet, download and finally install Metamask.
Here are the steps explained in details:
Step 1: Download and install Mavis Hub For Windows
So go to axieinfinity.com, select play now in the right hand upper corner.
A notification window will be displayed and the download should start automatically.
If it doesn’t click on try again; the download is available for iOS, android and Mac OS.
When the download is complete, open the folder , extract the file and install the app.
This of course is not possible yet as we need to create an account first.
So click on ” create new account to get full access to the axie infinity market.
Step 2: Download and Install Your Ronnie Wallet
This is where the red fun begins, setting up an account on axie infinity is more than just entering username and password.
It is more like setting up a bounty where you store axies and the tokens you earn by playing the game.
Now an account and a wallet are always linked together, all the axies you will later see in your account are not stored but only listed there.
The actual keys to this assets on the block chain are stored in your wallet.
This means if it is not in your wallet, it does not get displayed in your account.
As Axie Infinity operates on an Ethereum searching card Ronin, we have to install the Ronin wallet first.
The great thing about Ronin is that it supports free transactions.
This means you do not have to pay expensive gas fees.
Back on axie infinity market place, simply click on login with Ronin Wallet.
A notification stating ” You do not have Ronin Wallet, Please install”.
Click on Download one for chrome link.
This will lead you to the chrome web store, here simply add an extension and pin it to the extension board.
Next, open Ronin, by clicking on the app icon and select “get started”.
Here startup a new account and enter your password.
This is the password you will use for accessing your Ronin wallet in your browser.
It is not the password you will need when accessing your assets.
Confirm password and click on create wallet and reveal your seed phrase.
A seed phrase is much more than just a password.
It generates and holds the keys to your assets.
And if you don’t want to lose these assets, then follow these security guidelines.
- Write the seed phrase down on a piece of paper and store it away in a safe place.
- You must understand that when you loose your seed phrase. There is no way to bring it back.
- It cannot be restored by someone from the Ronin network support team or any member of the community.
- Never ever share your seed phrase with anyone or your fan circle.
- Never enter your seed phrase anywhere else than your Ronin Wallet.
- Always enter the seed phrase yourself otherwise your funds are gone.
After capturing the seed phrase on paper, confirm it.
Share in the correct details for each position on the next page.
Click on continue . A notification will display indicating that your wallet has been created.
When you click on the Ronin icon up on top right corner, you will get an overview of what your Ronin wallet looks like or contains.
Click on manage and select account #1
Rename it to your desired name.
Step 3: Access your account with the Ronin Wallet
Go to Axie Infinity marketplace first, and click login with Ronin Wallet.
Ronin’s wallet will pop up with a signature request, simply click on confirm.
Right after confirmation, I get full access to the dashboard of my account with a request to give it a name and click save.
The overview reflects what we have already seen in the wallet.
Click on Account and continue settings up your account by entering your email and password.
After this wait for confirmation email with a 6-digit verification code.
And after entering this verification code, your setup will be complete.
Step 4: Download and Install Metamask
The question will be why do we need to install a second wallet in the next place.
The answer is that axie infinity doesn’t operate on Ethereum main net but on its biggest side chain Ronin.
First go to bottom left hand corner of your screen and layout from your account.
Then click on login with Metamask. A notification will appear “Please install Metamask first”.
Click on the link you can download it here.
We highly recommend using the link above instead of searching for Metamask on google as this could lead you to a fishy website.
So always be very careful where you download your wallet and make sure its from official websites only.
On Metamask, click on download and select install wallet for chrome browser.
On chrome web store, click on add to chrome and add Metamask as an extension.
When it is ready, simply pin it to the extension board again and select get started.
Now setting up Metamask works the exact same way as installing your Ronin wallet.
If you have used Metamask before , click import wallet.
Click create a wallet if you are using for the first time.
Click on “I agree” to the terms and conditions.
Create new password and you need to confirm it.
On the next page, you will receive secret recovery phrase for your Metamask wallet.
Write it down on a piece of paper again and complete the installation process.
When it is done you get an overview of how your balance looks like.
Open up Metamask by clicking Metamask icon.
Now back on axie infinity market place.
Before login with Metamask, First login with Ronin Wallet.
I confirm the signature then head to account settings and attach Metamask.
Another signature request will be sent, kindly confirm it.
Also confirm another signature request in the Metamask page.
Your Metamask will linked to my axie infinity account.
Finally open the Mavis Hub again, enter Email, password , solve puzzle and click verify.
Once verification is success, click on login into my account.
