To delete Instagram sub accounts permanently, you will need to:
- First open Instagram.
- Click on your name.
- A list of your accounts will be displayed.
- Log in to the account you want to delete.
- Click on the horizontal lines at the top right corner.
- Go to the settings.
- Click on Help.
- Then proceed to go the help center.
- Search Delete.
- Click on how do I delete my Instagram account.
- Scroll down and tap on the link “Delete your account.”
- Select the reason why.
- Re-enter your password.
- Tap the delete button at the bottom.
This will simply delete your second Instagram account.

How to Delete Instagram Account from Account List
How to delete Instagram account from account list:
Go to settings, scroll down and click on logout.
Select all accounts and click on logout of all accounts.
If you want to remove an account from this list, click on edit.
Click on x that appear on the right hand side of the log in button.
Then select remove.
Click on finish editing.
Click on login to log back to any account you like to.

How to Delete Your Instagram Account from Facebook
How to Delete Your Instagram Account from Facebook:
- Tap on your Instagram app to launch.
- Click on your profile icon on the lower right corner of the screen.
- Click on the menu icon or horizontal lines in the upper right corner.
- Tap on settings.
- Click on ACCOUNT.
- Then select Linked Accounts.
- Tap Facebook on the list of linked accounts.
- Click on “Unlink Account“.
A message will be displayed confirming whether you want to unlink your Instagram from Facebook, Click “Yes, Unlink“
How to Make a Sub Account a Main Account on Instagram
To make a sub account a main account on Instagram, click on the menu icon at the upper right of your profile, it is the three horizontal lines.
Proceed to click settings at the top and then tap on login info.
This is where you can see all of the subaccounts associated with your main account.
Deselect the account that you want to remove, this doesn’t delete the account.
You will be prompted to create a password for that account.
After creating a password, you will nolonger see that account among your subaccounts.
The email address will not be changed so you can share the same email for both your accounts.
Though if you want to use a different email address, simply go to settings.
Now tap on account among the displayed list and then click on personal information at the very top.
That will display the email and you can change it from there.
By so doing you will make a sub account its own main account on instagram.
But reminder when you shift a subaccount to a main account, you cannot reverse the process.
